Google Instant

Google Instant does not work on Opera 10.6. and on the iPad browser.
"Google Instant requires Chrome v5/6, Firefox v3, Safari v5 for Mac or Internet Explorer v8."

How lame is that? They don't know how to use jQuery or what?
